Carton Plast in PP

After years of studies and numerous installations, BG Plast has reached such a quality level that it has become a reference for anyone, who wish to undertake this type of production. BGBoard 3200 is a line for the production of PP homopolymer/copolymer honeycomb sheet with a useful table of 3000 mm. 

The special feature of the line consists in the type of extruder used: for the first time in the world, a twin-screw counter-rotating extruder with a screw diameter of 125 mm was used to produce PP honeycomb board. 

Thanks to the extrusion peculiarities of this line, in fact, it is possible to achieve a higher production output with all thicknesses, without excessively degrading the material and with a significantly lower total plant consumption (almost 1/3 less than the installed power just for the extruder!). 

A further upgrade was made in the calibration unit: fully automatic, with opening and closing adjustments to the nearest hundredth of a tolerance.
