HDPE and PVC geomembrane extrusion lines

Geomembranes are key impermeable sheets in many industries. Made primarily from polymeric materials, they are used to prevent the passage of liquids, gases or contaminants through soil or fabricated structures. Because of their ability to create protective and containment barriers, they find use in a variety of applications, from waste management to environmental engineering. Among the most popular are civil engineering projects to waterproof large areas such as landfills, reservoirs, or lakes. 

Geomembrane extrusion lines developed by BG Plast are designed to produce geomembranes in high-density polyethylene (HDPE, LDPE), polypropylene (PP), PVC and other polymers, with or without textile reinforcement. The advantages of our plants include the possibility of achieving membrane widths up to 9000 mm.

Applications of HDPE and PVC geomembranes

• Landfills: HDPE geomembranes for landfills provide an effective barrier against leachates and harmful substances as they provide containment of solid and liquid wastes.
