V-STUD & T-Grip liners

Large concrete pipes are usually inside lined with ceramic tiles to facilitate the water flow and to ensure a long service life.

To obviate the high production costs, a new technology has been developed: a HDPE sheet with a series of longitudinal “T” has been involved. This sheet is anchored in the cement during the casting.

Thanks to this process, the used pipe can be a normal HDPE pipe, with all its typical advantages.

This longitudinal ‘T’ sheet is obtained by a special calender with shaped rolls.

Thanks to an effective cooling system, sheet thickness up to 4 mm can be obtained: something that the market has not yet been able to offer until now!

In the last years, the market for HDPE V-Stud liners has developed enormously.

These sheets ensure a perfect anchorage for their use in concrete structures.
