BG Plast: our history
BG Plast was founded in 1987 with the goal of engineering and manufacturing extrusion lines and systems for plastics, specifically for the extrusion of thermoplastic sheets and foils. From the very beginning, the company has distinguished itself through a rigorous technical approach, based on an in-depth analysis of the customer’s production needs and the creation of custom-designed thermoplastic extrusion machines.
Each project begins with a study of the thermoplastic extrusion process, continues with the design of the system and concludes with construction, in-house testing and commissioning. This method enables BG Plast to develop sheet extrusion lines, film extrusion lines and special systems capable of guaranteeing reliability, precision and continuous production.
The company operates from an efficient facility located in northern Italy, near Milan, in a strategic area for the industry. The production facilities are equipped with specialized machinery and modern tools, suitable for the construction of complex and highly customized extrusion lines.

Our professional expertise is complemented by a solid understanding of and experience with regulatory requirements – a fundamental aspect of the engineering, manufacturing and maintenance of thermoplastic extrusion lines. From design through production, regardless of the country of destination, our team of engineers pays particular attention to compliance with current regulations and machinery directives.
Specifically, Directive 2006/42/EC is applied for mechanical compliance, while European standards EN 60204-1:2008 and 2006/95/EC are followed for electrical compliance. An approach that guarantees high standards of safety, reliability and quality in the design, construction and maintenance of the systems.
